Benefits of being an Energy Saving Recommended retailer

Energy Saving Recommended products stand out from the crowd.

The Energy Saving Recommended logo appears on products from fridges to integrated digital TVs and is a guarantee that the product is the most energy efficient in its category, it will cost less to run and it will help to prevent climate change. Only the top 20 per cent of products on the market can carry the symbol so it's a clear indicator of excellence.

Only the best products are Energy Saving Recommended. Half of all shoppers know that the logo means they can trust the product. And four out of five shoppers are aware that it signifies the best in class for energy efficiency and quality.

Getting an Energy Saving Recommended accreditation is currently free. Retailers are provided with up to 1000 free stickers or swing tags, plus content for websites, stats, facts and other elements, including the benefits of consumer awareness from our multi-million-pound advertising campaigns each year.

Accredited retailers are listed on the Energy Saving Trust's site, with a direct link to their websites. Last year's publicity generated 600,000 unique visitors to the Energy Saving Trust's site, so interest is high.

The Energy Saving Recommended logo is a visible commitment to quality and energy efficiency. People look for it to save money on running costs and do their bit to help prevent climate change.
